Income Restrictions

This property participates in the Federal affordable housing program called Low Income Housing Tax Credit. AKA Section 42. This program accounts for the majority of all affordable rental housing in the United States today. Applicants and residents must be income-eligible to move in and will be required to complete recertification paperwork annually. Information on the household’s income and assets must be disclosed. Annual income must not exceed amounts set by the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). They will maintain restricted rent throughout their tenancy. Other program rules may apply.

The low-income housing tax credit program strives to increase housing access and affordability and to expand the availability of quality community services for the people of California.
